The 13 newly recognized National High-Tech Enterprises in Longquan cover key industries such as thermal management, precision manufacturing, bamboo and wood processing, and traditional sword and porcelain craftsmanship. They have not only injected new vitality into Longquan's innovative enterprise echelon, but also delivered an impressive performance in driving industrial upgrading through technological innovation. Up to now, the total number of National High-Tech Enterprises in Longquan has reached 120, with an increasingly prominent innovation agglomeration effect.
In the production workshop of Zhejiang Yilang Ceramics Co., Ltd., intelligent production lines are operating in an orderly manner, and exquisite ceramic wine bottles are rolling off the assembly line one after another. This enterprise, which only settled in Longquan in 2023, quickly gained a firm foothold through technological innovation and successfully partnered with renowned wine enterprises such as Moutai and Fenjiu. "Being recognized as a National High-Tech Enterprise has given us stronger confidence and leverage in customer bidding and recruiting high-end talents!" said Zhou Shuxin, the company's chief engineer, with a smile. At present, the provincial-municipal collaborative scientific and technological research project on Longquan celadon has been successfully implemented. Next, the company will focus on tackling the R&D of customized non-standard automated equipment to further amplify its technological advantages.
Zhejiang Longquan Weijia Bamboo and Wood Products Co., Ltd. is also a "powerhouse" among the newly recognized National High-Tech Enterprises. Entering the enterprise exhibition hall, innovative bamboo household products catch the eye. "Centering on the innovation of bamboo bending technology, we have independently developed more than 10 sets of special equipment and launched over 20 new products every year. It is this drive for innovation that has helped us gain a firm foothold in the market," said Ji Chuntao, the company's sales manager, frankly. "The National High-Tech Enterprise recognition is not an end, but a new starting point. We will continue to deepen the research on deep processing technology of bamboo and promote Longquan's bamboo bending technology to the global market." In fact, there are many cases of enterprises in Longquan's bamboo and wood processing industry turning around through technological breakthroughs. Earlier, some enterprises opened up an international market with tens of millions of US dollars in orders by innovating anti-corrosion, anti-mold and flame-retardant agent technologies.
Enterprises can focus on innovation with peace of mind, thanks to the customized scientific and technological "support package" tailored by Longquan City. In recent years, the local government has continuously updated and optimized policies to benefit enterprises through science and technology, reducing burdens and empowering enterprises with "real money": enterprises recognized as National High-Tech Enterprises for the first time receive a direct reward of 400,000 yuan; the application threshold for R&D expense subsidies has been lowered to 500,000 yuan, and the subsidy ratio for the incremental part has been increased to 8%. Moreover, Longquan has established a High-Tech Enterprise Cultivation Database to accurately "portrait" enterprises and identify their shortcomings; it provides "one-on-one" exclusive services, offering full-process agency for application procedures to help enterprises avoid detours; it also builds industry-university-research cooperation platforms to connect enterprises with universities and research institutes accurately, accelerating technology implementation and achievement transformation.
With the continuous release of policy dividends, Longquan's innovation vitality has been fully ignited: up to now, Longquan has 120 National High-Tech Enterprises, 43 provincial-level specialized, sophisticated, distinctive and innovative SMEs, and 395 provincial-level tech-intensive SMEs.
